Dr. Bonnie Hayden Cheng is an Associate Professor of Management & the MBA Program Director at HKU Business School, University of Hong Kong. She obtained her PhD from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
As an organizational psychologist, researcher, & consultant to Fortune 500 companies, Bonnie is passionate about corporate wellness - the “S” of ESG. She holds a unique position designing & implementing cutting-edge, research-backed solutions to help companies deliver impact on real-world challenges & create awesome corporate cultures where people thrive.
Bonnie works closely with global organizations to champion mental health & wellbeing in the workplace. Her work transforming companies to make positive change has received numerous awards across various sectors. Bonnie is closely connected with the global community. She is a Scientific Advisor to One Mind at Work, a global coalition of key executives from the world's most influential companies dedicated to workplace mental health. She is a Subject Matter Expert to the Academy of Management, the world's go-to resources for scholarly research & commentary on stories relating to management & organizations. She is Co-Chair of the Future of Work committee with the American Chamber of Commerce, Ex-Officio member of the Male Allies Leadership Council with The Women's Foundation, and a member of the Education committee with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
As an award-winning professor, Bonnie teaches Executive Leadership, Leadership & People Management, Negotiation & Conflict Management, Workplace Wellness, & Research Methods at the MBA, MGM, Executive Education, DBA, & PhD levels.
